Dynamic Subcategories

The dynamic subcategories element in the CMS bundle is a powerful feature that allows you to automatically list subcategories of the current category in your shop. The display can be shown in either a grid format or as a slider, enhancing navigation and user experience.

Save valuable time and resources

This element can be used across categories. Therefore, you have the option to position it, for example, in the general category listing. You only need to create one Shopping Experience for all your categories, and the subsequent subcategories will always be displayed as structural elements.

Basic Settings

Function	Description
Display (1)	Here you can choose the display type. Options include Tiles / Grid / Slider
Category Levels (2)	Here you define how many subcategories of the subcategories should be displayed.

Layout Settings

Function	Description
Category Description (1)	In addition to the subcategories, you can also display an excerpt of the corresponding description / teaser.
Show Button (2)	The individual categories are linked via their titles; the button is optional.
Activate Category Images (3)	If each category has an assigned image, it can also be displayed.
Fit of Category Images (4)	Here you can choose between Cover and Contain.
Height of Category Images (5)	For a uniform layout, the height of the images is fixed.

Bootstrap Variables

The default values consist of variables that may appear differently in the storefront depending on the theme. You can use these values or set your own. The variable var(--bs-body-bg) is, for example, the general background color of the shop, which is set in the theme.
