# Variant - Table

The **Variant - Table** lists all variants of a product in a compact table – with variant name, delivery time, price and a direct **"Add to cart"** button per row. This way your customers choose the desired version (e.g. colour and size) at a glance, without having to click through individual variants.

### Configuration

The element only needs a parent product – all associated variants are then loaded automatically.

<table><thead><tr><th width="287">Function</th><th>Description</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Choose main product (1)</td><td>Select the parent product whose variants are displayed. Via <strong>"To the selected product"</strong> you jump directly to the product in the administration.</td></tr></tbody></table>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Automatic data retrieval**

You only maintain the parent product – all variants including delivery time, price and buy button are taken over automatically from the product. New variants appear in the table without any further action.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.rh-webdesign.com/cms-bundle/en/elemente/produktdartstellung/variant-table.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
