This element helps users better orient themselves on your website and quickly return to higher categories or pages. It contributes to improved user-friendliness by facilitating navigation and clearly visualizing the user's path on the page.
What is breadcrumb navigation?
Breadcrumb navigation, often referred to as "crumb trail navigation," shows the hierarchy of visited pages in the form of a simple path.
It typically consists of links to parent categories or pages that represent the user's position within the structure. This allows the user to always understand where they are and to return directly to higher levels.
The data is automatically retrieved, but some layout settings can still be made:
Function | Description |
---|---|
Alignment (1) | Left-aligned, centered, or right-aligned |
Text color (2) | Here you can set the text color of all links. The active link will be styled differently depending on the theme. |
