# Changelog

The changelog shows what has changed in the versions of the Theme - Manager – straight from the Shopware Store.

In the changelog you see what has changed in the individual versions of the Theme - Manager – new features, improvements and fixes. The entries are the release notes published for the extension in the Shopware Store. You can also see which version is installed on your shop and whether a newer one is already available.

You find the changelog in the administration under **Content › Theme - Settings › Changelog**.

<table><thead><tr><th width="287">Function</th><th>Description</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Documentation (1)</td><td>Opens this documentation in a new browser tab.</td></tr><tr><td>Support (2)</td><td>Opens the support page through which you reach the developer.</td></tr><tr><td>Suggest a feature (3)</td><td>Do you have an idea for a new feature? The button opens the website of RH-Webdesign in a new browser tab. Alternatively, write to us through <strong>Support</strong>.</td></tr><tr><td>Entries (4)</td><td>This is where the release notes appear – or a notice saying why none are displayed at the moment. Both are explained below.</td></tr></tbody></table>

## What the entries show

If the Shopware Store provides release notes, each version appears in a box of its own – the newest at the top.

<table><thead><tr><th width="287">Display</th><th>Meaning</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Installed version</td><td>Next to the heading “Changelog”, it says which version of the Theme - Manager is installed in your shop.</td></tr><tr><td>Version number and date</td><td>At the top of each box is the version number, and to the right of it the date on which the version was released in the Shopware Store.</td></tr><tr><td>Installed</td><td>Marks the version you are currently using.</td></tr><tr><td>Comes with the next update</td><td>Marks versions that are newer than yours – so an update is available for you. These boxes have a coloured outline.</td></tr><tr><td>Entries</td><td>The changes of the respective version as a list.</td></tr></tbody></table>

You install the update itself like for any Shopware extension under **Extensions › My extensions**.

## Notices instead of entries

If the changelog cannot display any entries, one of these notices appears in their place:

<table><thead><tr><th width="287">Notice</th><th>Meaning</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>“The changelog appears here as soon as the extension is released in the Shopware Store.”</td><td>The Shopware Store does not know the extension yet, for example before its release. The changelog then asks again after an hour at the earliest.</td></tr><tr><td>“The Shopware Store has no release notes for this extension yet.”</td><td>The extension is published in the Shopware Store, but without release notes there so far.</td></tr><tr><td>“The changelog could not be loaded from the Shopware Store.”</td><td>The Shopware Store could not be reached – for example because your server is not allowed to connect to the internet. The technical cause is shown below the notice. Open the changelog again later or pass the message on to your host.</td></tr></tbody></table>

## Where the entries come from

The changelog loads the release notes directly from the Shopware Store. For this, your server must be able to reach the Shopware Store. You do not need the Shopware extension “Shopware Store” for it.

So that the changelog opens quickly, your browser remembers the entries it has loaded. If they are older than ten minutes, the changelog reloads them in the background the next time you open it. After an update of the Theme - Manager, it reloads the entries immediately.
