# Install Theme

To give your shop a unique look, you should either install a theme from the official Shopware Store or have a custom theme developed.

### Install the Theme in your Shop

The theme behaves like any other extension and can be installed through your administration panel under **Extensions > My Extensions** Make sure you have linked your [Shopware account](https://docs.rh-webdesign.com/shopware-theme/en/preparation/shopware-account), or you won't be able to view your purchased themes.

After installing the theme, you'll need to assign it to your **sales channel:**

#### Individual Shopware Theme

If you don't find a theme in the Shopware Store that suits your needs, or if your company requires a tailored solution, it makes sense to have a custom theme developed. Inheritance hierarchies and the visual integration of additional extensions can be programmed 100% to your specifications with a custom theme.
