# Status messages

When working/using the store, you will certainly have noticed the information messages, such as the message when a product is added to the shopping cart:

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/4ivSncQ1fNXXMJpDvOHv" alt=""><figcaption><p>Alert type: "Success"</p></figcaption></figure></div>

These messages run through your entire store and additional extensions also use the different types:

{% hint style="success" %}
**Alert type: "Success"**
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Alert type: "Information"**
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Alert type: "Warning"**
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Alert type: "Danger / Error"**
{% endhint %}

You can define the corresponding colors for the status messages in the theme. I have already prepared a few colors for you.
