# Search result - Page

You can flexibly design your search-result page, build it with custom shopping-experience elements and then assign it specifically to certain sales channels. This gives you individual, channel-dependent control over your shop's navigation, structure and visual impact.

### 1) Create the page type

In the shopping experiences you create a content page of type "Search results - Page".

### 2) Choose a section to start

Then you choose a section to start with. The CMS Bundle also offers options for [custom column layouts](/cms-bundle/en/sections-and-blocks/sections/custom-column-layouts.md). In this example we keep it simple with the "Full width" section.

### 3) Name the page type

Here you choose a name for the layout so you can find it again later in the overview.

### 4) Add blocks / elements

In the next step you can build the layout with all elements, blocks and additional settings from the entire shopping experiences. The CMS Bundle also ships extra blocks for each page type, so you find the optimal starting point here.

In this case we choose the "Shopware Standard" block.

### 5) Customize elements

Each of the individual elements of this layout is configurable separately and can also be used in other blocks. You can now start customizing the elements. The page type ships with further elements. For detailed information on the configuration, navigate to the respective element page:

### 6) Add the layout to the sales channel

You can now save your finished layout and add it to the corresponding sales channel.
