The **blog overview** is the start page of your blog in the shop. It lists the published posts and offers entry points via categories and search. Its structure and look are determined entirely by the shopping experience assigned to the blog as **Blog overview layout** (see [Blogs](/cms-bundle/en/blog/verwaltung/blogs.md)).

The individual building blocks come from the [blog elements](/cms-bundle/en/blog/elemente.md): * The blog's **title** and **description** – from the [Title](/cms-bundle/en/blog/elemente/titel.md) and [Content](/cms-bundle/en/blog/elemente/inhalt.md) elements. * **Search** and **categories** as entry points – the [Search](/cms-bundle/en/blog/elemente/suche.md) and [Categories](/cms-bundle/en/blog/elemente/kategorien.md) elements. * The **post list** – the [Posts](/cms-bundle/en/blog/elemente/beitraege.md) element, here as a card grid. Scheduled or draft posts do not appear. {% hint style="info" %} Only **published** posts whose publish date has been reached are shown. You control the status per post (see [Posts](/cms-bundle/en/blog/verwaltung/beitraege.md)). {% endhint %} ## Category page When a reader clicks a category, they reach the category page with all posts of that category. By default it uses the blog's **Category overview** layout – but a category can define its own layout (see [Categories](/cms-bundle/en/blog/verwaltung/kategorien.md)).
